This was an art project, you combined 2 images and then scratch-boarded-them...yah....I guess thats a term...
This took me a while to do, partly because when I started I was so afraid I'd screw it up that I just sat there and stared at it >< Eventually, as you can see, I came to my senses and scratched away.
It looks better from a distance, if you look at it too closely the lines become too distracting, you need to see it from a distance to make sense. It's a person's face and an eye btw/
Nice. I love your linwork and how you show the texture of the skin, and define the eyes with a viratey of lines. My only reccomendations are to use a greater viratey of widths of lines, and more "Shadow areas." Wonderful work.
thank you, I'll try to keep that in mind, this was the first time I'd used a scratch board, so I wasn't too sure what to do, so, you're comments are greatly appreciated ^^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
